Who can be the immigrant consultant?

The following is from the immigration law:
"New Regulations for Paid Representatives - The new regulations
state that paid representatives must be authorized: in order
to conduct business on behalf of clients when dealing with the
Government of Canada in immigration and refugee matters; or
to provide advice or assistance. "
Authorized, paid representatives may only be:
immigration consultants who are members in good standing of
the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants; lawyers who
are members in good standing of a Canadian law society and students-at-law
under their supervision; and notaries who are members in good
standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec and students-at-law
under their supervision.
What is skilled worker immigration?

Skilled workers have education, work experience, knowledge of
English and/or French and other abilities that will help them
to establish themselves successfully as permanent residents
in Canada. There are six selection factors.

What is investor immigration?

investor immigration is one type of business immigration. The
Immigrant Investor Program seeks to attract experienced persons
and capital to Canada. Investors must demonstrate business experience,
a minimum net worth of CDN $800,000 and make an investment of

What
is Entrepreneur immigration? |top|
The Entrepreneur Program seeks to attract experienced persons
that will own and actively manage businesses in Canada that
will contribute to the economy and create jobs. Entrepreneurs
must demonstrate business experience, a minimum net worth of
CDN $300,000 and are subject to conditions upon arrival in Canada.
When you immigrate to Canada as an entrepreneur, you must have
the intention and the ability to control a percentage of equity
of a qualifying Canadian business. You must provide active and
ongoing management of the qualifying Canadian business. Your
business must create at least one new full-time job for a Canadian
citizen or permanent resident. You must meet these requirements
within three years of becoming a permanent resident.
What
is self-employment immigration? |top|
As a self-employed person, you must have relevant experience
in cultural activities, athletics or farm management. You must
also have the intention and ability to establish a business
that will, at a minimum, create employment for yourself. You
must make a significant contribution to cultural activities
or athletics or purchase and manage a farm in Canada.
No immigration conditions are imposed on this class. You must
have enough money to support yourself and your family members
after you arrive in Canada.
Who
are qualified to be family re-union immigrants?

The spouse of Canadian citizen or permanent residents and children
with less than 22 years of age are qualified to be family re-union
immigrants. In addition, parents or grandparents of citizen
or permanent residents are qualified.
